Coming out of high school, Natrell Jamerson was recruited as a WR. After posting 119 catches, nearly 2,100 receiving yards and a whopping 42 TD’s throughout his high school career, Natrell decided to enroll at the University of Wisconsin. After one season as a wide receiver, Natrell and coaches mutually agreed a position change was beneficial for both, and Natrell has not looked back since. Since the transition to cornerback and now safety, Natrell has helped Wisconsin have one of the best defense in the entire nation throughout his four years at Wisconsin and propelled his senior class to the winningest senior class in school history with a record of 45-10.
Now entering the NFL draft Natrell has his eyes set on helping any team willing to take a chance on him. Not only did Natrell participate in the NFL combine, Natrell absolutely crushed it. Posting the most bench reps by a defensive back with 25, just one shy of the NFL combine record and 4.40 in the 40-yard dash. Check out what Deion Sanders had to say about Natrell at the combine.
Natrell gives any NFL team instant versatility, not only does Natrell play safety, he can also play cornerback and nickel back in any defensive scheme. Also, if you need a return man on special teams, Natrell can do that too, as he had 98-yard kickoff return in 2015. Whichever team takes a chance on Natrell could have the steal of the draft.
